The Senior Director, Business Development will focus on identifying, developing, and winning U.S. business opportunities by selling clinical trials software to pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Responsibilities
Selling clinical trials software (IVR/IWR) to pharmaceutical and biotech companies
Achieving company sales goals
Establishing and maintaining client relationships
Prospecting for new opportunities
Educating customers on the value of the software platform
Maintaining accurate records in the sales force automation system
Communicating weekly activities and coordinating sales pipeline
Preparing and delivering presentations
Generating quotes and proposals
Participating in trade shows and conferences
Assisting in the creation of new sales plans and strategies
Winning customer awards for new business
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years IVR/IWR or pharmaceutical services related sales experience
Proven track record of success in Business to Business Software sales
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
Ability to work independently and in a team
Organized with a methodical approach to prospecting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
