Job Description

The Senior Director, Business Development will focus on identifying, developing, and winning U.S. business opportunities by selling clinical trials software to pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

Responsibilities

  • Selling clinical trials software (IVR/IWR) to pharmaceutical and biotech companies
  • Achieving company sales goals
  • Establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Prospecting for new opportunities
  • Educating customers on the value of the software platform
  • Maintaining accurate records in the sales force automation system
  • Communicating weekly activities and coordinating sales pipeline
  • Preparing and delivering presentations
  • Generating quotes and proposals
  • Participating in trade shows and conferences
  • Assisting in the creation of new sales plans and strategies
  • Winning customer awards for new business

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years IVR/IWR or pharmaceutical services related sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in Business to Business Software sales
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Organized with a methodical approach to prospecting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
