Quest Analytics is seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to modernize and scale their data environment. The role involves building automated, cloud-based pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and modern data platforms to improve data accessibility and reliability across the business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement internal process improvements
• Transform workflows into automated pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code in Python
• Leverage distributed data tools like Spark and Databricks
• Review project objectives and implement suitable technologies
• Apply best practice standards for development and deployment automation
• Manage data infrastructure and support data investigations
• Monitor and report on data pipeline tasks
• Partner with teams to identify efficiency opportunities
• Participate in training and mentoring programs
• Uphold company values and contribute to a positive culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience with ETL, data operations, and troubleshooting
• Strong SQL development skills
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Scala
• Solid understanding of the Azure ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and ADLS
• Familiarity with Spark, Databricks, and data modeling
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Self-motivated and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Customer-focused and collaborative approach
