Drivemode, a Honda division, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the architecture and technical vision for companion apps and backend services for electric vehicles. The role involves developing software for Android, designing APIs, and mentoring other engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for Android
• Contribute to product definitions and designs
• Design APIs and SDKs
• Support engineering development lifecycle
• Build prototypes
• Mentor other engineers
• Lead technical discussions and reviews
• Advocate for testing best practices
• Perform code reviews
• Drive company vehicles for product development and testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of mobile app development experience
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience creating maintainable code
• Experience with asynchronous programming, multi-threading, and dependency injection
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform
