Job Description

Drivemode, a Honda division, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the architecture and technical vision for companion apps and backend services for electric vehicles. The role involves developing an iOS app with a Kotlin Multiplatform core and native SwiftUI views, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in the EV market.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS app with KMP core and SwiftUI
• Provide guidance across app feature stack
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams
• Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews
• Design APIs and SDKs
• Take ownership of features from concept to delivery
• Support engineering lifecycle processes
• Build prototypes
• Mentor engineers
• Drive vehicles for product development and testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of iOS app development experience
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience with readable and maintainable code
• Experience with dependency injection and asynchronous programming
