Cohere Health is seeking a physician with expertise in Orthopedic Surgery to deliver on musculoskeletal and orthopedic programs by reviewing clinical information and applying evidence-based guidelines. Responsibilities

• Provide timely medical reviews
• Provide clinical determinations based on evidence-based criteria
• Document communication and decision-making
• Use correct templates for documentation
• Meet turn-around times for clinical reviews
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions
• Maintain professionalism and accountability
• Support team projects
• Support operational improvements

Requirements

• US-based Orthopedic Surgery residency completion
• Board certification as MD or DO with unrestricted state license
• 5+ years of clinical practice
• 1+ years of managed care utilization review experience
• Membership in national/regional specialty societies
• Licensure in AZ, FL, MN, ND, OR, or TX preferred
