Cohere Health is seeking a physician with Urology expertise to deliver medical appropriateness of services through clinical information review and evidence-based guidelines. This role is part of a rapidly scaling team focused on impacting millions of patients and requires adaptability, quick learning, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely medical reviews
• Provide clinical determinations based on evidence
• Document communication and decisions accurately
• Use correct templates for case review
• Meet turnaround times for clinical reviews
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with providers
• Maintain professionalism and accountability
• Support team projects and operational improvements

Requirements

• US-based Urology/Urological Surgery residency completion
• Board certification as MD or DO with unrestricted state license
• 5+ years of clinical practice
• 1+ years of managed care utilization review experience
• Membership in national/regional specialty societies
• Licensure in MN, ND, or TX is highly desirable
