Job Description

Cohere Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Analyst to support data-driven clinical programs focused on improving collaboration between payors, providers, and patients, enhancing quality of care, and optimizing healthcare spending. The role involves working with various stakeholders to produce insights, build analytical solutions, and identify optimization opportunities using statistical analysis and data mining.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate understanding of clinical content and UM products
• Build and maintain analytical reporting solutions
• Identify optimization opportunities using statistical analysis
• Collaborate with clinical, account management, data science, and engineering partners
• Track cost, utilization, and industry trends
• Refine product features and client support

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a big-data analytics role
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling tools (SQL, Python)
• Understanding of healthcare systems and medical terminologies
• Experience with healthcare data sets (medical claims, pharmacy, eligibility)
• Experience with clinical and utilization management programs
• Experience developing dashboards and BI tools (Tableau)
• Experience interfacing with stakeholders on KPI development
• Experience owning complex projects and meeting deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or quantitative discipline
