Job Description

Cohere Health is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer I to design, deploy, and monitor production models for extracting or predicting clinical findings from healthcare data. The role involves building scalable ML systems, performing data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to automate administrative clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare data to design, develop, and deliver clinical ML models
• Build reliable and scalable production machine learning systems
• Perform feature engineering, statistical analysis, and improve model run time
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, statisticians, clinicians, and analysts

Requirements

• 1-3 years of full-time professional experience in ML
• MS in computer science, machine learning, computational linguistics, statistics, mathematics, or similar
• Experience building with modern language models
• Understanding of experimental design and data interpretation
• Experience with model configuration, training, evaluation, deployment, and maintenance
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch
