Job Description

Cohere is seeking an RN Supervisor to coach, mentor, and evaluate a team of RN Reviewers. This role focuses on ensuring performance metrics and quality standards are met, providing operational guidance, and fostering a high-performing clinical team within a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the RN Reviewer team
• Establish and communicate daily plans
• Manage daily timeliness reports
• Monitor nurse productivity and provide feedback
• Lead weekly team meetings
• Capture process efficiency ideas
• Provide bi-weekly individual meetings with direct reports
• Track nurse productivity
• Train and develop new RNs
• Oversee daily newsletter publication

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with active license
• 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience
• Knowledge of NCQA/CMS requirements
• Experience with MCG, CMS NCDs/LCDs, clinical criteria guidelines
• Prior Authorization or Utilization Management experience
• Excellent computer skills and Mac familiarity
• Experience supervising in a remote environment
• Ability to cover evening shifts
