Job Description

This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and high availability of Tenable's cloud-based vulnerability management platform in private and US Government cloud environments. It involves troubleshooting, automation, collaboration with cloud engineers, and proactive identification of operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and high availability of cloud products
• Respond to support escalations and troubleshoot complex issues
• Develop automation tools for deployment and monitoring
• Provide thought leadership on complex projects
• Collaborate with cloud engineers on new technologies
• Participate in the software development lifecycle
• Create and maintain operational documentation
• Drive standardization efforts
• Perform system upgrades and define monitoring requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Remediate infrastructure and container security vulnerabilities

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• 6+ years of SRE experience
• Core software engineering fundamentals
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC technologies
• 2+ years of FedRAMP compliance experience
• 3+ years of public cloud deployment experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
• Agile software development methodology experience
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, Node.js)
• Project leadership experience
• Experience with distributed, microservice applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
