Job Description

Tenable is seeking a detail-oriented Software Engineer in Test to focus on quality assurance for their Security Center, Nessus, and Agent products. The role involves manual and automated testing, collaboration with developers, and contributing to test framework improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual, regression, and API/UI tests
• Design and maintain automated test suites
• Collaborate with developers and product teams
• Identify, document, and track bugs
• Contribute to test plans and release criteria
• Work with VMWare Vsphere
• Provide feedback on quality and process improvements

Requirements

• 3-4 years of software testing experience
• Experience with Onprem and SaaS products
• Understanding of QA methodologies and defect management
• Expertise in Python with pytest and UI automation (Selenium)
• Strong technical knowledge in OS, Networking, IT infrastructure, and Databases
• Familiarity with API testing tools
• Ability to work with limited product specs
