Job Description

As a Principal Security Consultant, you will be a trusted technical advisor responsible for elevating the capability and performance of Tenable’s Professional Services team. This role involves leading training programs, mentoring consultants, managing client escalations, and providing billable expertise on strategic engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Professional Services Training Academy
• Mentor consultants and partners
• Provide expert consultative insights
• Guide clients in building Exposure Management programs
• Manage client escalations
• Train client teams
• Support pre- and post-sales needs
• Collaborate with Portfolio and Domain Specialists
• Liaise with Technical Support
• Support consultant readiness
• Contribute to methodologies and documentation
• Monitor customer satisfaction

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT/Cybersecurity experience
• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or equivalent
• Hands-on expertise in vulnerability and exposure management
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional communication skills
• Broad understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Current security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, OS CP, or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• U.S. based without sponsorship required
