Job Description

The Director of Engineering, Platform Engineering will lead the building of Everlaw’s scalable, reliable, and secure platform. This role involves roadmapping, resourcing, execution, and process improvement, working closely with various teams to prioritize efforts and empower engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and empower managers to cultivate high-performing teams
• Align stakeholders on technical decisions and roadmap
• Strategize, prioritize, resource, and execute the Engineering roadmap
• Improve processes affecting infrastructure growth and collaboration
• Understand Everlaw’s platform, tooling, and processes

Requirements

• 4+ years managing and leading senior engineers
• 2+ years managing and leading managers
• 5+ years as a senior engineer building platform services or infrastructure
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with technical roadmaps
• BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
