Job Description

Black Duck Software is seeking a Senior Staff Sales Engineer to join their Commercial Sales team. This role bridges the technical and commercial aspects of application security solutions, working with customers and the sales team to demonstrate value and drive sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations
  • Provide technical consultation on SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions
  • Analyze customer environments and propose security solutions
  • Create and deliver technical presentations
  • Support security architecture discussions
  • Provide competitive technical differentiation
  • Participate in industry events

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in application security sales engineering or related role
  • Understanding of application security concepts and testing methodologies
  • Experience in SAST, SCA, or DAST technologies
  • Technical skill-set in software development or security engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
