Job Description

As a Lead, Benefits Configuration, you will manage and develop a team of benefit configuration analysts supporting client implementations. This role ensures high-quality product delivery by building and managing pharmacy benefit plans and supporting core benefits operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team delivery of benefit configuration and documentation
  • Manage employee performance and provide coaching
  • Schedule employees and track productivity
  • Support process improvements and best practices
  • Work with clients to understand benefit plan requirements
  • Build and maintain pharmacy benefit plans
  • Monitor plan data integrity
  • Provide leadership support for escalations
  • Communicate project status and escalate issues
  • Ensure timely resolution of internal team inquiries

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of benefits configuration experience in healthcare/insurance
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze benefit plan design
  • Ability to maintain production levels and quality
  • Robust analytical skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with informed decision-making ability
  • Execution-focused and solutions-oriented
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%
