Job Description

SmithRx is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. This role involves managing expenses, providing financial insights, ensuring accurate planning and forecasting, and owning the company’s planning and forecasting tool.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Partner with department leaders for planning and forecasting
• Provide variance analysis with commentary
• Develop and present financial reports
• Identify cost drivers and efficiency opportunities
• Track headcount and vendor spend
• Support financial modeling and scenario planning
• Build relationships with team leaders
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders
• Serve as system owner for planning and forecasting tool
• Maintain and update financial models
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 4–7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
• Proficiency with financial systems and Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with a planning tool (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Healthcare or health-tech experience is a plus
