Job Description

SmithRx is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in machine learning to drive and implement ML-powered solutions. The role requires 5+ years of experience in machine learning/AI development and will involve working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end ML solutions for anomaly detection, claims optimization, and eligibility validation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize ML models
• Uncover new ML use cases to drive business value
• Prototype use cases for GenAI to enhance customer experience
• Contribute to building a scalable ML infrastructure
• Act as a thought partner on emerging ML/AI capabilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science/machine learning
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related field
• Applied Machine Learning experience
• Strong mathematical background
• Proficiency in Python
• Working knowledge of MLOps
• Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
• Experience with retrieval methods and embeddings
• Experience with Python packages like pandas, sklearn, TensorFlow, torch, transformers, LangChain
