Job Description

Zynga is seeking a server-side Engineer with 2+ years of experience to work on user-facing features, core gameplay functionality, and backend systems for high-profile mobile games like Words With Friends. The role involves developing and maintaining applications on cloud platforms, writing tests, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain features and gameplay functionality in Ruby/Ruby on Rails, C#
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms
• Write unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
• Extend existing functionality
• Create technical documentation
• Participate in technical design discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development with server-side focus
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfort working in a collaborative environment
