BioIntelliSense is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Android Firmware Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of core software components for next-generation medical devices powered by Android OS. This role involves both hands-on development and team leadership, ensuring high standards of quality, reliability, and security throughout the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
• Troubleshoot technical issues on device provisioning
• Design and develop low-level system functionalities
• Integrate BLE and Wifi technology
• Implement cloud connectivity using AWS IoT
• Develop user-facing Android applications using Kotlin
• Create supporting tools and scripts using Python
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and regulatory teams
• Drive software development plans
• Implement best practices for code quality and testing
• Stay up-to-date with latest advancements in Android OS

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development
• In-depth knowledge of Android OS
• Experience with low-level system functionalities
• Strong understanding of BLE technology
• Experience integrating AWS IoT
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
