Job Description

BioIntelliSense is seeking a Sr. Embedded Algorithms Engineer to prototype and implement algorithms for their BioButton® and related products. This role focuses on extracting meaningful measurements from sensor data, optimizing algorithms for embedded systems, and contributing to team infrastructure to improve efficiency and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Prototype algorithms for vital sign signal extraction
• Define algorithm requirements and test metrics with the product team
• Port algorithms to C/C++ and optimize for processor and power constraints
• Develop test protocols and perform QA
• Ideate tools for algorithm benchmarking and testing
• Develop and maintain internal signal evaluation tools
• Assist in designing and conducting hardware/firmware studies

Requirements

• PhD or MS in EE, CS, or related engineering field
• 5+ years experience in signal processing and algorithm design
• Experience with large time-series datasets
• Experience in embedded C/C++
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M0/M4)
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
