Job Description

WebFX is seeking a Web Developer Intern to assist their full-time development team with client projects, programming, testing, and debugging web-based projects using the LAMP stack. The internship offers hands-on experience with open-source platforms like WordPress and opportunities for learning and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist full-time development team with client projects
• Program, implement, test, and support web-based projects using LAMP
• Debug and problem-solve on open-source platforms
• Troubleshoot web browser issues
• Explain technical ideas to peers and management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (in-progress or completed)
• GPA above 3.4
• Experience with PHP/MySQL
• Familiarity with object-oriented and procedural programming
• Knowledge of open-source CMS platforms (WordPress)
• Experience with IDEs (Eclipse)
• Strong communication skills
• Eagerness to learn
