Responsibilities

• Define and evolve authentication and authorization architecture
• Own core services powering account lifecycle management
• Architect a scalable messaging platform
• Build infrastructure for abuse detection and content moderation
• Ensure platform-wide compliance with data protection regulations
• Influence engineering and legal peers on data minimization and security practices

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend/platform engineering experience
• 5+ years in identity, messaging, or trust systems
• Experience modernizing legacy account systems
• Hands-on experience in security and compliance
• Experience with Go, Python, or TypeScript
• Familiarity with martech stacks like Braze and Segment
• Fluency with platform security and system design
• Proven ability to lead architectural transformation
