Job Description

Lantern is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for customers and internal systems. This role requires expertise in IT platforms, networking technologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure network stability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and manage network infrastructure
• Architect and deploy network security solutions
• Configure and manage Fortinet technologies
• Firewall & VPN Management
• Implement Azure network security controls
• Monitor network traffic and security
• Administer servers
• Collaborate with other IT teams
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies
• Understand data schema/API standards, automation, and messaging systems
• Bring a metric-driven mindset to rules and alerts

Requirements

• 7+ years in network/security engineering
• 5+ years with Fortinet solutions and Azure networking/security
• Experience with an NDR solution
• Experience managing cloud security services
• 5+ years’ experience in IT support and systems engineering
• 5+ years’ experience with scripting tools and automation
• 5+ years’ experience collaborating with technical teams
• Deep knowledge of network application and mobility security
• Strong knowledge of DNS protocols and Fortinet Suite Management
