Lantern is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team in designing, developing, and maintaining their Data Platform. This role requires expertise in Data Architecture, batch processing, and Data Modeling, with a focus on building enterprise-scale solutions using cloud platforms and big data technologies. The ideal candidate will drive impactful results through team management and ownership of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Architect, build, and maintain data infrastructure
• Implement Data Ingestion, Transformation, and Data Quality features
• Build data models
• Define and enforce coding standards
• Contribute to design documents and PoCs
• Support production jobs
• Define Data Strategy and Roadmap
• Foster a culture of continuous learning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 5+ years of Python programming experience
• 3+ years of team management experience
• 4+ years of Cloud Experience (Azure preferred)
• 3+ years of experience with EDI/HIE standards
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, and Kafka
• Expertise with Microsoft SQL Server or relational databases
• Strong communication skills
