Job Description

Zynga is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Words With Friends team. This role involves collaborating with the Product team to improve key metrics, designing and maintaining data pipelines, analyzing player behavior, and contributing to the team's AI initiative. The ideal candidate will leverage data and ML-powered solutions to enhance player experience and drive game improvements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product team to enhance revenue, retention, and engagement
• Conduct A/B testing and insights analysis
• Develop dashboards
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines
• Design game telemetry
• Analyze player behavior
• Monitor and maintain tools and models
• Participate in AI initiative
• Learn and share analytics best practices
• Actively play and engage with games

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years in data science or analytics roles
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience in data analysis, visualization, statistical analysis, and machine learning
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Git
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative team player
• Familiarity with mobile games
