Job Description

ZenBusiness is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead their Salesforce and Automation Engineering teams. This role involves overseeing systems, integrations, and workflows that drive internal operations and customer experience, focusing on delivery excellence, mentorship, and operational efficiency through technology and AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of Salesforce and Automation engineers
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions
• Empower senior engineers and leads to own sprint planning, delivery, and retrospectives
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Oversee intake, refinement, and sprint execution for Salesforce and Automation teams
• Partner cross-functionally on project timelines, resource planning, and risk management
• Lead weekly production triage

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software or systems engineering
• 3+ years in a management or lead role
• Experience with Salesforce architecture, development, and governance
• Partner with business stakeholders to manage backlog prioritization
• Lead the design and implementation of automation and AI-enabled workflows
• Maintain strong DevOps practices
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and observability
• Collaborate with Data Engineering
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture
• Proven experience with workflow automation
• Familiarity with AI platforms or low/no-code tools
• Experience managing distributed or hybrid teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
