Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a talented Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will understand customer challenges, tailor Pure Storage solutions, and act as a technical expert during the sales process, showcasing the value of their products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer's business drivers and decision-making
  • Connect technology solutions to customer business outcomes
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create customer strategies
  • Provide technical leadership and domain expertise
  • Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations
  • Deliver technical presentations
  • Capture requirements and translate them into solutions

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of multi-tiered computing solutions
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture
  • Experience targeting new prospects
  • Ability to contribute to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
  • Knowledge of storage architectures
  • Experience with Linux and NFS file systems
  • Knowledge of digital transformation and cloud architectures
  • Knowledge of VMware and networking
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Curiosity and passion for technology
  • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
