Job Description

As a Director of Enterprise Systems Engineering, you will lead and inspire a high-performing team of Pre-Sales Systems Engineers who partner closely with sales to drive strategic outcomes for our customers. You’ll be responsible for setting technical vision, developing top SE talent, and aligning Pre-Sales strategy with Pure’s go-to-market priorities.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue within the region
• Establish and track progress against a plan for creating long-term, sustainable growth
• Strategize on the team's opportunities and ensure the correct engagement on pre-sales activities
• Analyze the pipeline and forecast from a technical perspective
• Retain, hire and lead a world class team of SE Managers and Systems Engineers
• Develop, improve, and maintain resources
• Ensure alignment of technical message and approach across functions
• Build relationships and alignment with technical equivalents within regional Alliance and Channel partners
• Be the custodian of, and live the, values of Pure
• Recognize and reward outstanding behaviors and success within the team
• Cascade communication and goals throughout your teams
• Participate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader
• Be the executive sponsor in the region for larger opportunities
