Job Description

The Services Solutions Engineer will be the last line of defense before issues reach Development teams, tackling complex customer problems with cloud and storage technologies. This role involves mentoring support staff, developing solutions, and minimizing escalations to Engineering for a global customer base.

Responsibilities

• Resolve high-priority, complex service requests and escalations
• Mentor and coach Technical Support Engineers
• Drive issue isolation through collaboration with customers and Engineering
• Become a subject matter expert in containers and hybrid/multi-cloud deployments
• Create high-quality documentation for internal and external use

Requirements

• Mastery in technical escalation management and problem-solving
• Deep operational expertise in Linux system administration
• Solid experience with large-scale enterprise software deployment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation and initiative
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Knowledge of public cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of storage concepts (iSCSI, NVMe-oTCP, S3, EBS)
