Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to understand customer challenges and tailor Pure Storage solutions to meet their needs. This role involves collaborating with the sales team, acting as a technical expert, and showcasing the value of Pure Storage products and services.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer’s business drivers
• Connect technology solutions to customer outcomes
• Partner with sales team and channel partners
• Provide technical leadership on storage products
• Manage evaluations, benchmarks, and configurations
• Deliver technical presentations
• Capture requirements and create innovative solutions

Requirements

• Pre-sales experience required
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered computing solutions
• Familiarity with web architecture
• Experience targeting new prospects
• Superior knowledge of storage architectures
• Experience with Linux and file systems
• Knowledge of digital transformation and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of VMware and networking
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, and k8s
• Curiosity and passion for technology
• Familiarity with storage-intensive applications
• Excellent verbal and written skills
