The Software Architect will drive the future of virtualization on Kubernetes, integrating KubeVirt, libvirt, and QEMU with Portworx's storage platform. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and best-in-class cloud-native virtualization solutions and involves collaboration across engineering teams and open-source communities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement virtualization features within Portworx
• Serve as a technical leader in KubeVirt, libvirt, and QEMU
• Define technical roadmaps and lead engineering projects
• Mentor and elevate the engineering team
• Resolve complex virtualization and storage challenges

Requirements

• Deep expertise in KubeVirt, libvirt, and QEMU
• Expert proficiency in Go, C++, or Java
• Exceptional understanding of Kubernetes internals
