Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a District Manager to build and lead a team of account executives, focusing on recruiting, forecasting, development, territory planning, and channel partner relationships. The role requires establishing executive-level relationships, supporting sales presentations, and driving business results within the Albany/Rochester, NY or Hartford, CT areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives
  • Hire additional Account Executives
  • Provide leadership to the extended team
  • Manage team performance related to KPIs
  • Recruit and maintain relationships with channel partners
  • Drive sales call activity
  • Deliver business results including bookings and new logo production
  • Weekly review of activities and pipeline
  • Performance management of the team

Requirements

  • 8+ years of field sales management experience in storage or IT infrastructure
  • Experience selling to IT departments and management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven track record of recruitment and associate development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment
  • Ability to coordinate resources to execute sales strategy
  • Proficiency in CRM and online tools
