Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated Hardware Verification Engineer to help productize differentiated storage solutions for hyperscale customers. This role involves working with customers, partners, and internal teams to test, debug, and qualify hardware designs throughout the product development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Work with hyperscale customers, ODM/JDM partners, and internal teams to test, debug, and qualify HW designs
• Participate in design validation, Mfg test, failure analysis, and field issue support
• Define, implement, and automate HW validation and qualification test plans
• Debug testbeds and HW escalations
• Improve qualification processes for efficiency and product robustness
• Administer lab infrastructure and testbeds
• Perform failure and root cause analysis
• Analyze test data and create actionable summaries

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a HW Validation Engineer
• Experience with enterprise data storage systems or server products
• Strong scripting skills (Python, bash, csh)
• Strong understanding of X86 server architecture, BIOS, and BMC firmware
• Proficient in Linux OS
• Experience with HW qualification processes
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Strong communication skills
• B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering
