Pure Storage is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the design, architecture, and development of secure, reliable, and scalable systems within the Pure1 manageability layer. This role involves technical leadership, mentorship, project management, and driving operational excellence across the team and organization.

Responsibilities

• System Design & Architecture
• Develop and promote best practices in software development
• End-to-End Ownership and Technical Leadership
• Provide technical vision and strategy
• Anticipate bottlenecks and architect solutions
• Drive best practices and operational excellence
• Act as a product owner
• Coach and mentor junior developers
• Lead software projects
• Guide and motivate a high-performing team
• Recruit, hire and develop software engineering talent

Requirements

• 8+ years experience developing enterprise/cloud software using Java
• 3+ years in a tech lead or similar role
• Led multiple projects from conception to release
• Proven design sensibility
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Mongo DB, Kubernetes, Spring Boot
• BS degree in Computer Science
