Pure Storage is seeking an experienced Principal Technologist to serve as a strategic technology leader for their Federal customers and partners. This role involves driving technical innovation, shaping product direction, and providing thought leadership to clients while influencing the company’s roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic technology advisor to customers and partners
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with C-suite executives
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams
• Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer pain points
• Develop proof-of-concepts and technical demos
• Act as a public-facing technical leader
• Support field teams in pre-sales and post-sales engagements
• Mentor and train internal teams

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
• Previous experience working within Federal accounts
• Deep expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or data architecture
• Strong knowledge of enterprise storage solutions
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Proven track record of engaging with Fortune 500 enterprises
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
