Pure Storage is seeking a Security Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers in Santa Clara, California, driving Infrastructure Security, Product Security, and DevSecOps initiatives protecting Pure’s cloud services. The role involves evaluating security controls, leading security programs, building security tooling, and ensuring security posture across cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and implement security controls
• Lead and scale the Product Security program
• Coordinate remediation of risks and vulnerabilities
• Build tooling to support security best practices
• Drive DevSecOps initiatives
• Build processes and dashboards to track vulnerabilities
• Adopt an automation-first approach to security assessment

Requirements

• 2+ years of technical management experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience building and managing a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Cloud security posture management expertise
• Knowledge of identity management
• Experience managing projects throughout the SDLC
