Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Cloud Applications Engineer to join the core team redefining how products are sold. The role involves developing and delivering software products and APIs to differentiate Pure Storage from competitors, focusing on full-stack software development with proficiency in microservices across AWS.

Responsibilities

• Implement software development lifecycle concepts
• Perform software analysis, code analysis, and risk analysis
• Develop REST APIs and integrations with Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Okta
• Ensure software quality through testing and automated unit tests
• Maintain client relations and deliver timely information
• Assist clients with application support and knowledge transfer

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with AWS
• Proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, Java, and Node.js
• Experience with React for Web UI development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, EKS, ECR, SQS, IAM)
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Docker
• Strong commitment to Automated Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Understanding of algorithms and data structures
