Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to partner with Engineering teams to deliver productivity tools and services that streamline the development cycle of FlashBlade and FlashArray products. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable services and automation to improve software delivery, reliability, and developer productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer platforms and automation services
• Architect and implement high-availability solutions
• Develop services in Python, Go, or Rust
• Extend and optimize CI frameworks
• Apply Linux/Unix fundamentals
• Embed security into CI/CD systems
• Drive capacity planning and system optimization
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation
• Build observability and debugging tools
• Standardize monitoring, logging, and incident management
• Collaborate with developers on CI/CD integration
• Participate in on-call rotation and postmortems

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong background in designing scalable architectures
• Deep expertise with CI/CD platforms
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, or similar
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• Proven background in observability
