Job Description

Ladder is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance their monitoring and detection capabilities. The role involves improving security posture, responding to incidents, and collaborating with engineering and product teams. This position can be hybrid in Palo Alto, CA, or remote in one of 23 states.

Responsibilities

• Improve monitoring and detection capabilities
• Stay current on security threats
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams
• Secure Google environments
• Manage SaaS applications
• Iterate on security measures
• Assess and secure applications and CI/CD processes
• Assist with SOC2 and compliance
• Triage alerts and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with stakeholders

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in information security
• 1-2 years of experience in information technology
• Knowledge of secure coding practices
• OSCP, HTB-CPTS, PNPT, eCPPTv2, or equivalent
• Apple workstation security experience
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Datadog, Google SecOps
• Passion for security tooling
• Experience securing AI/ML models
