Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to develop HIL plant models, create validation test plans, perform MIL/SIL/HIL validation testing, and troubleshoot SW and HW systems. The role involves working on challenging engineering projects with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop HIL plant model
• Generate and maintain models for vehicle components
• Create validation test plan and test specifications
• Develop and maintain validation framework
• Root cause analysis of SW and HW issues
• Develop test automation scripts
• Perform MIL/SIL/HIL validation testing
• Define and execute test cases for Fault management & Diagnostics
• Define and execute test cases for UDS diagnostic
• Identify gaps in requirements
• Design and development of DVP
• Troubleshoot using measurement equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6 months’ work experience
• Travel and/or relocation throughout the U.S.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and dSpace HIL system
• Experience with VectorCANoe, CANalyzer
• Understanding of A-SPICE process
• Knowledge of ISO26262 functional safety
