ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Build/Characterization Technician to build and assemble sensors, wiring, and fixtures for battery development test rigs. The role involves characterizing sensors, instrumenting cells, operating test equipment, and documenting test data to support engineering and analysis teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble sensors, wiring, and fixtures
• Characterize sensors
• Instrument cells with sensors
• Operate test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Distribute and document test data
• Troubleshoot sensor setups
• Maintain detailed records
• Follow safety standards

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field
• 5+ years of experience in instrumentation or lab testing
• Strong soldering and wiring skills
• Familiarity with sensors
• Proficiency with data logging systems
• Attention to detail and documentation practices
