Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced operations people leader to manage a team of 20-30+ data collectors and annotators for physical data generation. This role focuses on delivering data output, ensuring quality, optimizing workflows, and serving as the primary contact between annotation/data collection staff and the customer team.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Data Collection and Annotation teams
• Serve as main interface between data collection and research teams
• Manage team headcount and coordinate hiring
• Refine job profiles for data collection and annotation teams
• Create and maintain team schedules
• Conduct team meetings
• Develop and implement onboarding and training materials
• Set and monitor productivity goals and KPIs
• Manage team member performance and provide coaching
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures
• Improve data collection methodology
• Manage project tracking systems
• Create data reports and dashboards
• Maintain documentation of data collection processes
• Triage software and hardware issues
• Monitor software and hardware skillset needs
• Supervise workspace organization and safety
• Manage equipment handling and storage
• Track and implement hardware upgrades

Requirements

• 5+ years people management experience
• 10+ years of professional experience
• Proven team leadership experience managing 20+ associates
• Experience in business operations leadership with KPI responsibility
• Experience with data collection/annotation in robotics or autonomous vehicles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience defining metrics, pulling data (SQL), and building dashboards
• Sufficient technical ability to interface with software and hardware engineering
