Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Design and Release Engineer focused on airbags to contribute to the design, engineering, and testing of airbags for production vehicles. The role involves researching and investigating the design, functionality, and maintenance of airbag systems, with a focus on engineering judgment and collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical devices
• Analyze customer design proposals for feasibility
• Assist drafters in developing structural designs

Requirements

• 3+ years of airbag design experience (1 year in curtain airbag design)
• 3-5 years experience with OEM and/or Tier 1 suppliers
• Ability to create sketches and engineering drawings
• Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with CAD software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or similar)
