Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Junior Brake Certification Engineer to be responsible for the functional integration of brake systems, conducting tests, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves coordinating testing, developing reports, and supporting the development and validation of brake systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate brake systems to meet vehicle objectives
• Manage/validate Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R)
• Conduct DV and Certification Tests
• Coordinate testing at proving grounds
• Process and analyze test data
• Develop compliance reports
• Develop brake systems and coordinate vehicle logistics
• Root cause and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Knowledge of vehicle system design and validation
• Knowledge of brake system modeling/analysis
• DFMEA/SFMEA and DVP-R experience
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly motivated and self-starter
• Teamwork skills
• Brake testing/development or Chassis development experience
• Vehicle testing experience
• Brake system modeling experience
• Design and release experience of brake components
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in English
