Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment, robotics, and facilities. The role involves maximizing uptime, implementing hardware changes, supporting software researchers, maintaining documentation, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of System architecture
• Monitor robot health using supplier/manufacturer software
• Read mechanical and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot robots and mechatronics systems
• Perform Mechanical, Electronic, Motion control and Power systems maintenance
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot actuators and sensors
• Work with power tools for repairs
• Build obstacles and structures for testing

Requirements

• 2-3+ years experience in robotics or automation
• 2-3+ years experience with maintenance, repair, and modification
• Experience programming PLCs
• Inventory and spare parts organization experience
• Part ordering experience
• Team player with ability to prioritize work
• Experience working with suppliers
• Testing and validation experience
• Experience implementing/maintaining maintenance processes
