Job Description

This role involves executing virtual assembly simulations to analyze automotive operator assembly processes, improve safety, and optimize efficiency before physical production. The engineer will conduct virtual assembly trials using Siemens Process Simulate, motion capture, and virtual reality tools, collaborating with various engineering disciplines and incorporating operator feedback to validate future operations and product builds.

Responsibilities

• Conducting virtual assembly simulations
• Validating workstation processes using Siemens Process Simulate
• Utilizing motion capture and virtual reality tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Incorporating operator feedback
• Identifying and resolving human factors and workstation design issues
• Applying ergonomics and industrial engineering principles
• Utilizing Siemens Teamcenter PLM

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Automotive or relevant field
• Proficiency with Siemens Process Simulate (version 2016+)
• Experience with PLM tools (Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault 3D Enovia/Experience)
• Strong project management skills
