Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on test equipment, inspect and calibrate lab equipment, and document maintenance activities. The role involves collaborating with engineers and lab managers to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on test equipment
• Pick up and execute NB Expansion preventative maintenance tasks
• Inspect, calibrate, and service lab equipment
• Document maintenance activities and findings
• Identify equipment wear or malfunction
• Coordinate downtime for scheduled maintenance
• Support continuous improvement of lab PM procedures
• Ensure compliance with lab safety standards

Requirements

• Associate degree or technical certification in related field
• 5+ years of experience in preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to follow technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good documentation practices
