Job Description

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to conduct complex system and vehicle-level design verification and production validation tests. The role involves developing and executing test plans, analyzing data, and ensuring traceability throughout the product development cycle. This is a hands-on, on-site position at the Livermore, CA plant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release DV/PV plans and reports
• Lead planning and execution of DV/PV plans
• Design and configure test methods and simulations
• Deploy instrumentation and data acquisition strategies
• Review test plans and reports of peers
• Coordinate with suppliers for validation support
• Gather and refine data into reports
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment
• Develop engineering standards for requirements management

Requirements

• Bachelor or advanced degree in Engineering
• 5-8 years’ experience in Engineering
• Experience in automotive/heavy-duty vehicle testing
• Knowledge of FMVSS, ADA, APTA, SAE, NFPA
• Hands-on troubleshooting and testing experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience working with customers and suppliers
