ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an experienced ECU White Box & Stress Test Engineer to collaborate on challenging engineering projects in the automotive industry. The role involves testing advanced automotive ECUs and peripheral SOCs, utilizing various testing tools and equipment, and performing embedded code debugging. Responsibilities

• Testing advanced automotive ECUs and peripheral SOCs
• Reading and understanding circuit-board schematics
• Using testing tools like oscilloscopes and signal generators
• Performing white box testing and embedded code debugging
• Utilizing VT Studio and CANoe
• Performing register-level diagnostics and debugging
• Implementing and troubleshooting HIL electrical/wiring harnesses
• Analyzing data to establish pass/fail criteria

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in automotive EE HW white box testing
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and systems
• Proficiency in using testing tools and equipment
• Proficiency in embedded code debugging
• Experience with VT Studio and CANoe
• Familiarity with semiconductor data sheets
• Hardware-In-the-Loop systems experience
• Proficiency in automotive network and diagnostics protocols
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies
