Job Description

The Validation Engineer will conduct system and vehicle-level design verification and production validation tests to confirm achievement of technical requirements. This hands-on role involves developing and executing test plans, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and release DV/PV plans and reports
• Create and execute test plans for vehicle systems
• Design and configure test methods and simulations
• Deploy instrumentation and data acquisition strategies
• Coordinate validation with suppliers
• Gather and refine data into reports
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment
• Support development of engineering standards
• Manage requirements and associated plans

Requirements

• Bachelor or advanced degree in Engineering
• 1-5 years’ experience in Engineering
• Experience in automotive/heavy-duty vehicle testing
• Knowledge of FMVSS, ADA, APTA, SAE, NFPA
• Hands-on troubleshooting and testing experience
• Ability to build relationships
• Familiarity with testing processes
• Good communication and organizational skills
